Hi
Just checked hints to myself from July - maybe it makes sense !
################################################
31_7_2006
Not tried straight yum --enable=freshrpms install kino I did following
odd install!!
Tried livna first
yum --enable=livna install kino
Not happy
rpm -e kino
Tried freshrpms
yum --enable=freshrpms install kino
You need mjpegtools from livna
yum --enable=livna install mjpegtools
################################################
This is what I currently have installed
maui.jaa.org.uk ~ 1001# rpm -qa|grep -i kino
kino-0.9.0-2.fc5.i386
maui.jaa.org.uk ~ 1002# rpm -qa|grep -i mjpegtools
mjpegtools-libs-1.8.0-4.lvn5.i386
mjpegtools-1.8.0-4.lvn5.i386
maui.jaa.org.uk ~ 1003
################################################
With this I can go from audio free *.mov to dvd
with sound that plays OK in a standard player
