  You could reinstall the drivers for CUPS or whatever print program you 
are using. When you print something you can always send it to a postscript 
file (.ps) and use ghost view or any postscript program to view and print 
the file.

  You should file a bug report at bugzilla to see if this bug is repeated 
in use by others.
