a2ps doesn't box first page

When I give a2ps two virtual pages to
print on one sheet, only the second
virtual page gets a border. The other
doesn't.

Any ideas abot what is going
on and what to do about it?

I'm running FC5.
a2ps --version produces
GNU a2ps 4.13
