Troubleshooting suspend issues

Hi,

Is there any documented way of troubleshooting suspend issues with
Fedora Core 6?

I have an Acer Ferrari 4005 which suspends just fine, but does not
resume properly.

I have seen the bugzilla entry
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=191406 and I would
like to know if there is anything extra that I can try to troubleshoot
this.
