FC5 openmosix, problem with booting

Hi, I have installed open-mosix kernel RPM openmosix-kernel-2.4.26-openmosix1.i686 everything was ok, but during booting a problem occurres:
Uncompressing Linux... Ok, booting the kernel.
ide: late registration of driver. 
Kernel panic: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on 00:00

I wanted to compile a kernel source, but fc5 have got too new gcc. And I couldnt unistall it and istall older.

could you help me please? thanks a lot
