FC5, And FC6 won't shutdown completely

Hi Tim. Bingo!  That works, at least on the 2.6.17-1.2174_FC5 kernel, that 
I've tried it on up to now. I'll try it later on with the later kernels, but 
on the face of it, the problem seems to be solved.
