Yes, it should have read: "I am unable to remove the offending kernel using
yum remove kernel-2.1.26-1.3228.* or any variations on that theme,
nor can I install it."

Ok, I have unzipped and saved those items but none appear pertinent to
my immediate "problem."
Actually I have no problem other than that the latest kernel version
Panics at boot. I was attempting to remove and re-install it but for
whatever reason did not accomplish that seemingly simple task?

The same Kernel runs happily in this computer and another so obviously I
have something corrupted.

Just mildly frustrated but I have plenty of other things to keep me
amused and all three F7 installs work well otherwise.

Thanks
