KDE can sort this out for you.  Open the "Control Center" app, then
"System Administration" and then "Login Manager".

Enter "Administrator mode" at the bottom and then on the "Convenience"
tab, select "Enable Passwordless-Logins" and then tick the user "demo"
underneath to have that power.
