F7 Intel ICH8R raid 1 installation failed

Hi all,

I just tried to install F7 an a new box containing an Asus P5B
Deluxe mainboad with Intel ICH8R and two SATA disks configured
as mirrorset (RAID1). There is already a running installation
of WinXP (ugly but neccessary), which must stay untouched.
After booting the DVD the process starts properly until the
point to select the desired location for the installation.
There are no available devices shown :-( However changing to
a shell (ctrl+alt+f2) and executing fdisk has absolutely no
problem to display and/or modify the partition data of the
existing disk...

Any ideas how to solve this problem and to install F7 ?
