nvidia driver doesn't work

Hi,

I installed fedora 7 (64 bit) on my computer. I installed the the 
package *kmod-nvidia *successfully . But when I logged out and tried to 
log in again the X server failed to start with this nvidia driver.

I never encountered this problem with fedora core 6.

Any idea what to do?
