If the plugin is already in /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins you'd probably
want the link going the other way:

ln -s  /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/libflashplayer.so
/usr/lib/firefox.1.0.0.10/plugins/libflashplayer.so
