quake 3 install

Hi 
 When trying to install quake 3 on FC 6 I am getting this error when trying to 
run the installer 

 ./linuxq3apoint-1.32b.x86.run
Verifying archive integrity...tail: cannot open `+266' for reading: No such 
file or directory
Error in checksums: 1764928793 is different from 2693581780


 Is there a new installer or some way to fix this ? I have been googling but 
cannot find a answer, thanks.
