animation graphics playback utility

hello,

1) is there a way to tweak the framerate of gif/png animation playback
in display utility from ImageMagic package? I mean, that all the
animations are horribly slow, if you compare it with playback in any
other program (web-browser for instance).

or if (1) is not possible, then is there any other similar graphics
viewer (I mean - no control elements, just preview window) that would
play animation files with their normal frame rate?
