Well, it looks like its the build (that's the problem); I tried
plugging in some other usb items and they were dead in the water. I'll
have everything transfered over in a bit, so I can reinstall FC. This
time around, I think I'll skip upgrading the kernel- I'd like to see if
that's the true reason for things getting messed up.
