A further question about using Windows XP printers on Fedora

Someone around keeps insisting that if you share a Windows XP printer it
will be seen in the list of printers you see in the CUPS web interface
on a Fedora machine. Is that true because it makes no sense to me unless
the Windows machine have some CUPS server software on it.

What is the experience of the rest of you?
