When you reply to email, please click "reply."

Then the to: address is (usually) set correctly, the subject reflects 
that this is a continuation of an existing conversation, and you can 
apply your attention to responding, point by point, to those you want 
to, and pruning the excess.

It took me some time to figure what you're talking about.
