serial port bug?

    I was fooling around and from Google it said to check /dev/port. So 
I used the call which is like one I saw # dmesg | grep port and got this 
below:

I put space around the serial port line. It says the driver is there 
with 4 ports. But I have just one 9 pin serial port. It sure looks like 
something is working?
