That depends. Removing the acrobat plugin from /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins
and /usr/lib/firefox../plugins should do it.
If you are using mozplugger then remove the Adobe Acrobat reference for
mozplugginrc
Finally you can go to : about:config and change:
browser.download.hide_plugins without_extensions to false by clicking on
it.
Then in Edit->preferences->Content->Manage
find the PDF Document line and change the action to what ever you want
to.
