When I tried this I ran into the following lossage:

Downloading Packages: ...
http://rpm.livna.org/fedora/8/i386/xorg-x11-drv-nvidia-libs-173.14.12-1.lvn8.i386.rpm:
[Errno -1] Package does not match intended download

It tried a bunch of other mirrors and failed.   This happened on about
3 of 5 packages. I retried 'yum install kmod-nvidia' several times
over two days and eventually it worked for all of the packages.  How
could a repo fail in this way?
