Curious behaviour with multiple desktops in F9 KDE

But how do you use it?
I yum-installed it, and tried

[tim at elizabeth ~]$ wmctrl -r 7 ssh alfred
[tim at elizabeth ~]$ sudo wmctrl -r 7 ssh alfred
----------------------------------
but neither seemed to have any effect.
