Seems I have some real problems....

So, I do not have transcode installed.  Even after a 'yum clean all', I 
tried
to install transcode:

[root at gold dant]# yum install transcode
Loading "priorities" plugin
Setting up Install Process
Parsing package install arguments
No package transcode available.
Nothing to do
