F9 xorg.conf doesn't set gamma

The xorg.conf file at the end of this message works, except for the
Monitor section, which was just added to set gamma.  

Entering:
        $ xgamma -gamma 0.80
from a console works fine.

Here is the non-working xorg.conf file.  Does anyone know what's wrong
with it?
