Turn the sendmail service off, then send yourself a couple of mails:

echo lala | mail -s "test" root

Then check /var/spool/clientmqueue/. These messages appear to be on your system anyway.

Ugh, I knew I should have been replying to e-mail this early in the morning.

The better option is to `rpm -e logwatch` and that would stop mail from being generated. No need to disable mail.
