lost auto-ethernet option

Using F9 NetworkManager-0.7.0-0.9.4.svn3675.fc9.x86_64.

I lost the 'auto ethernet' in nm-applet.  Now, it does not auto-connect to wired ethernet.  I have to manually choose 'System-eth0'.  How do I get back the old behavior?
