gnome startup

I need this in my startup:
setxkbmap -option -option ctrl:swapcaps
I can't set it through gnome, because when I try to open
preferences/keyboard it crashes the xserver (this is running on a remote via
nx).
What file do I edit to add this so my gnome startup will use it?
