F11 upgrade - worse than Windows

I had this problem too (although it didn't run for quite so long -
maybe an hour or two).

When I rebooted after it finished, yum was in a mess.

I got advice on this list. Check last weeks archives to see what
worked for me (if you ever get to that stage).
