Yes. Unfortunately, not all mirrors are equal. It would be great if
yum maintained a metric for connection quality to compliment the
fastest mirror plugin. That is why I prefer smart package manager. The
capability of sorting and prioritizing multiple repositories by speed
and connection quality is built into that application.
