A new version of gnome-applet-sensors

There is a problem with an actualization of gnome-applet-sensors
package. In a rawhide there is 1.7.8 which is over half a year old
(current is 1.7.12). In the meantime a few quite important bugs were
fixed and support for some new sensors was added [1].

I had sent two mails (in March and April) to package maintainer Aaron
Kurtz, but I haven't got any reply.

Mentioned bug was tagged with FE7Target. Nevertheless it won't be in a
base version it would be nice to have it fast in updates.

Is there Aaron somewhere around?
If yes, please let us know if you plan to maintain gnome-applet-sensors.

If no or in case of no reply maybe someone else would be interested in
(co)maintaining gnome-applet-sensors?
