correctly on previous Fedora releases ?
(and mplayer crashes if you keep going forward till the end of the file)

This seems completely unrelated to what I posted. Mplayer is not inFedora repository. Totem does work fine in all the current Fedorareleases. If you want to discuss issues in development, post tofedora-test list instead.
