RPM broken when 2.6.0 test kernel installed?

I did that and this is what it reported back:
rpmdb: write: 0xbfffd500, 8192: Invalid argument
error: db4 error(22) from dbenv->open: Invalid argument
error: cannot open Packages index

Reboot
rm -f /var/lib/rpm/__db.*
rpm --rebuilddb
