I haven't been able to get it to work.

Then again, dvdrecord's commandline syntax is so easy, I rarely use
gcombust to burn DVDs.  (I've been getting a lot of mileage out of the
mkdvdiso.sh script that someone posted to the Fedora list to make DVDs
out of all my RedHat distros.  *grin*)
