Graphical boot issues: a.o. graphical boot twice slower then text boot!!!

Another annoying issue:
When using the kernel frame buffer support (UseFBDev in XF86Config), the 
X display gets messed up by the text messages produced by the booting 
services. Anyway to work around that?
