Skip packages

I just finally figured this out, also.

Do your normal apt-get update && apt-get -u upgrade

copy the packages you need to get updated

they type:

apt-get install PACKAGED_TO_UPDATE

and apt will update only those packages you supply.

rinse and repeat for full shine. :)
