Network card problem

Hi,

Does not sound too bad what you have been doing, but in order to analyze 
what's wrong can you send the output when you run ifconfig
and maybe also your /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 file
(assuming your network interface card is configured as eth0)
