I have had good luck with a few of the mirrors -- ftp.linux.ncsu.edu, 
redhat.secsup.org, mirror.hiwaay.net, and sunsite.mff.cuni.cz (they all 
mirror the x86_64 tree as well as the i386 tree and are usually up to date).
