I really don't know. I use up2date for updating (and yum for installing
additional packages from other, non-core repositories). Living in Europe
I use 
- http://wftp.tu-chemnitz.de/pub/linux/fedora-core/development/$ARCH/
or
- ftp://alviss.et.tudelft.nl/pub/linux/fedora/core/development/$ARCH/

Both mirror the x86_64 tree very well (in contrast to some other
mirrors).
