Well, I can now verify that it is, in fact, the problem with jpackage 
RPMs. If I build it from the same .bin that they use using my own 
specfile, it works wonderfully. I did check and jpackage's RPMs were 
seemingly linking to the gcc32 version, so that shouldn't have been a 
problem. I'll write to jpackage-discuss and notify that this problem 
seems to exist.
