Kernel or Xorg what is the problem?

There's no mention at all to what video hardware you are using, so it's 
hard to guess as what could be causing the problem.  If you do suspect 
it to be an X.org bug however, please file a bug in 
http://bugs.freedesktop.org in the "xorg" component.  Be sure to include 
all details, and your X server config file and log file as attachments 
also.  6.8.0 draws near...
