CUPs on reboot problem

Hi,

I've done a reboot to the current version of the kernel. Everything is going
fine until the restart tries to start CUPS. It has been stuck there now for
over 5 minutes with nothing more than a lot of hard drive thrashing.

Is this a cups problem, kernel problem or my machine?
