Has anyone else noticed that when you 'rpm -e ...' a 2.6 rpm, its
corresponding /lib/modules/2.6.x directory is not removed?

hmm, the modules directory should be pretty much gutted though - but rpm
only removes what it installed, leaving things that were either modified
or generated after the fact.
