Laptop mode in FC2

Hello,
I've just played with the cpu speed scaling stuff... works very well!
All you have to do is set the right module name in /etc/cpuspeed.conf
("DRIVER=p4-clockmod" in my case), and run "/etc/init.d/cpuspeed restart"!
By the way, is "laptop mode" or anything equivalent still available in
FC2? (See
http://fedora.redhat.com/docs/release-notes/index.html#kernel-notes for
how it's advertised in FC1). /proc/sys/vm/laptop_mode no longer exists
in FC1.
Looking forward to saving more power...
