That is a known bug in the FC2 kernel in part. A bogus change hiding devices
with other dev files from sg got in. The preferred device to rip from
however is the /dev/sr device of the CD now, but that does need a new enough
set of cd tools. Or just build a generic 2.6.6. kernel or wait for errata
