The first would have been something (the things in the gnome panel are
called appletts), but gtik?!?!?
I had a similar bug in FC1 once. It made my music "skip". Think i might
have filed a bug on it as well...

it was in FC2, actually. Maybe there is a hint there on how to make it
disapear...
