FC Test 3: Mangled MBR

You need to install the bootloader on the first hard disk (I assume its 
/dev/hda) - there is an option
to do so during install. 

Is your disk capacity more than 140 Gigs ?  If so, have you enabled  
BIOS support of large disk drives ?
