Thanks for reply.
I don't have any USB devices connected to my Laptop. I have PCMCIA card in my laptop. However removing PCMCIA card and rebooting did not help.

I have been experiencing propably related behaviour with hal daemon:

Could you try to disconnect all USB devices, especially card readers?
