Firefox crashes on FC$

The original poster said fc4 install... the cairo patch is in the
development tree... there is no cairo patch in any fc4 package afaik.
Right now according to the information expressed.. there is absolutely
no indication that you and the original poster have similar systems
nor are seeing anything that can be considered as related to his
problem.

The development tree is starting to diverge signficantly from FC4. 
People running fc4 installs need to be encouraged to start using
fedora-list and fedoraforum instead of this mailinglist.  Making a
comparison between what you see on a development synced install  and
an fc4 install is going to become less and less valid. cairo and gtk
2.7 are just the beginning of the significant divergent behavior.
