you could try
baseurl=http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/extras/development/$basearch/

eg.  i386er
# yum --enablerepo=extras install abiword

should install 
http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/extras/development/i386/abiword-2.2.5-3.i386.rpm
