I managed to get mplayer to compile under FC4 ppc but I had to change a
bunch of assignments in one of the ffmpeg files. I submitted a patch to
the ffmpeg-devel list but I do not know if it has been accepted for
inclusion.

I will subscribe to atrpms-devel and see what I can do.
