grub installed in MBR problem (151204)

With reference to https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=151204 
a recent comment added to the report is that the problem is fixed in 
tomorrow's rawhide (12 May development).  I have had this problem annoying me 
for some time now on my x86_64 system.

Since the fix is not in FC4T3, I would still like to test it so here is what I 
plan to do:

Download the boot.iso from tomorrow's development and then do a "minimum" ftp 
install (pointing to one of the servers mirroring development) into a 
partition.

Will this be sufficient to test the fix?
