Better is 1.0.10rc<N>: alsa-1.0.10-<anything you like>_rc<N> 1.0.10 final: alsa-1.0.10-<anything you like +1> 1.0.10a: alsa-1.0.10a-... "anything you like" can be 0, or anything you like ...
